The largest Black College Football Game in the country takes place October 31st at historic Legion Field.   The Magic City Classic is a football series filled with all the ingredients of any successful rivalry, close competition, great football action, fiercely loyal fans, and pageantry.  This game features Alabama State University and Alabama A&M University, the two premier historic black colleges with long histories of tradition.  

The 2009 matchup is expected to bring another record setting attendance and the greatest tailgating in college football.  Once again, the game will be surrounded by a week of activities including a pep rally, a parade, and a celebrity game ambassador that will be honored at halftime.
